We had a lovely warm welcome and shown to the Memories road with comfortable 4 poster bed. Great spa bath, very clean all round and housekeeping cleaning/tidying our room daily. Car parking was such a bonus and felt safer than leaving car in a dark unattended car park. Breakfast sausages are the best we’ve had. Steve & Mairi

Was concerned reading reviews after booking but it’s a lovely clean quirky place. I stayed in the pears room which was lovely and warm and spacious, nice bathroom. Great view from the window. Nice tasty breakfast and great service . Property well situated for all of Haworth’s gems .

I looked at a few reviews on TA before we stayed here and think some seem a little hard with their comments. Firstly it’s nice to stay somewhere that’s not a corporate hotel like a Premier inn or Travelodge cookie cutter layout hotel. It’s an old hotel with quirky features so you need to keep that in mind. I liked the door access to enter the hotel with a fob for the front door, its location. To the large car/coach park (3-5 min walk away) and the rest of Main Street was ideal for our needs. The breakfast we thought was good, was better on the second morning but both were to a decent standard. The possible only gripe we’d have was the lighting I. The room was quite dim, but the type of lights are in keeping with the theme of the hotel so it’s to be expected. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and welcoming.

Janet and Julie really saved us when we arrived late at night desperate for somewhere to stay. Not only did Janet come down to give us a room, she also poured us a drink, stayed for a chat and made us feel very welcome. We weren’t made to feel that it was an inconvenience at all and are very grateful for that! The lavender room was gorgeous and the eggs Royale for breakfast was delicious! It’s also in a great location and the perfect bnb for the quaint little town of Haworth. The perfect British countryside location. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had the Tudor room which was extremely disappointing. The sheets were too small for the bed and they had shoved a mattress protector under the bottom sheet which again didn't even fit causing it to be lumpy. They had stuffed two thin pillows into one pillow slip which made them very hard. We checked the pillows and they were disgusting and soiled and the duvet cover also had a tear in the seam. The room needs a complete refurbishment, it is old and dated. The carpet was dirty especially around the skirting boards. No soap in the room which we had to ask for. The toilet handle was also broken. Communication was very poor no one got back to us about our request for a four poster bed until it was too late and we couldn't cancel the room. When we got to the property we tried several phone numbers as we needed to know where to park. Nobody had the courtesy to pick the phone up or return our call. We couldn't complain about the room to anyone as the host wasn't there. It was not worth £120 a night, we feel we have been ripped off. The breakfast was not anything special. The stay was not a good experience

We stayed two nights and loved the location right on main street. We were two couples and got our rooms in each end of the building with separate entrances which was a bit inconvenient but ok. The rooms were charming with a lovely view out the window and the lady who welcomes us were really friendly and kind. The breakfast was everything we could wish for and the only thing we were disappointed with was that the bar and restaurant never opened while we were there.

You get what you pay for in this place. Rooms are ok and the building is quaint. The staff are nice but they seem to work to their own rules and don’t have consistent bar opening times. The main gripe I have is that they serve the cheapest food they can find. Breakfast on both mornings were there was practically inedible. Where is the local Yorkshire produce and the freshly squeezed orange juice. We wouldn’t stay again and we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They just won’t work hard enough to keep people.

Loved our stay at the old registry. The staff were great,friendly and helpful.Our room was beautiful, the jacuzzi bath was a welcome treat after a long day walking. A special mention must go too the Yorkshire breakfast, which was cook fresh to order and was delicious.
